I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
You’ve done an amazing job on this Egyptian painting! I like how you’ve recoloured it to be brighter and show more gold and silver. I think that’s a super insightful thing to add given that Ancient Egyptians used to collect it!
If you could go to Egypt, would you? What would you do there? I think I’d go look at the pyramids! They just look so cool!
Perhaps you could increase the size of your post so your readers can better appreciate your artwork and commentary.
Hello Isaac. Well done for getting on with your SLJ.I have been busy looking at other posts and haven't seen this picture before. I like your reasoning for using the colours that you did. May I suggest that the next time you colour something in,you use 2 different tones. The kaftan (I think that is what it is called) blends into the background as they are the same colour. It would be great to see one stand out more than the other. Have a Merry Christmas and holiday.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
